More: Pigs In Zen is our new West Coast IPA, inspired by a favorite song of Jane’s Addiction! The base is Pale 2 Row and a touch of Maris Otter for a rich malty flavor. We used Columbus and Amarillo hops in the kettle, and Centennial and Citra during the whirlpool. Тhen we double dry hopped with Amarillo and Citra. Medium body with a golden-yellow color and 6.5% alcohol. The combination of hops results in a hop bomb with aromas of lemon-lime, orange sorbet, undertones of mango, and freshly picked spring flowers. The flavor follows the aroma with sweet oranges, mango, and deep balancing grapefruity bitterness with a slightly dry finish.
